This ensures that your magnet remains magnetic at 360° (max. 5% of the tensile force is lost). Magnetar® 360° magnets are fragile. This is not a production defect but a product characteristic. Magnets are made of magnetic powder (neodymium) which is compressed. When an unprotected magnet is thrown against a stone, pieces may break off. Therefore, protect your magnet with a suitable protective cover and prolong its life. With a protective cover, the pulling force is reduced by 5%.
