Purchase separately any brand of soda or crystal activators (needed to activate the plate).
Cleans multiple items at once. If all items are completely immersed in water and in contact with the plate, or indirectly via another object in contact with the plate, tarnish will be successfully removed.
Remove the plastic from both sides of the plate and place it in a non-metallic bowl (any plastic container will do, e.g. tupperware, takeaway containers or buckets).
Pour in enough hot water to cover all the items to be cleaned.
Add detergent or activator crystals (purchased separately). As a guide, add one or two measures of activator crystals per liter of water and allow to dissolve.
Completely immerse all objects in the water, making sure they are in contact with the plate, either directly or via another item.
Let stand for 30-60 seconds, moving occasionally. Use a brush to remove any tarnish or stubborn dirt. Do not leave on for more than 2-3 minutes.
Remove objects, rinse with water and dry with a cloth.
After use, clean the plate with water and dry with a cloth.
Keep in original packaging for future use
To clean bronze, copper or brass, add a large cup of lye powder to the activator crystals.
